Armed Forces Welfare Housing Organization (AFWHO) is an organization that is dedicatedly functioning with the sole objective of initiating, promoting, and executing welfare activities for serving and retired Armed Forces officials, including the Paramilitary, Police Forces, Central/State government & PSU's. The organization is registered under Section 1882 of the Act and follows the guidelines of that section in letter and spirit. The organization operates on a NO PROFIT, NO LOSS basis.

AFWHO's primary objective is to promote the welfare of our men in uniform. To this end, the organization engages in activities that include negotiating and facilitating the provision of dedicated residential projects comprising plots, apartments, flats, independent floors, farms, etc., tailored to the specific needs of our men. The AFWHO assists our men, particularly those posted in remote areas who are unable to fulfill their housing requirements due to service exigencies, in acquiring their dream homes at a place of their choice and at an affordable price that is well within their budget.

AFWHO provides vacation homes for individuals or families seeking a peaceful escape from the stresses of everyday life. These homes offer a chance to unwind and recharge in a comfortable and relaxed environment, creating an opportunity to spend quality time together and create lasting memories.

Whether it's a beach house, mountain cabin, or countryside villa, vacation homes provide a unique retreat for travellers seeking privacy, peace, and tranquillity. These homes provide an opportunity for individuals or families to disconnect from technology and reconnect with nature and each other.

AFWHO's role is to negotiate with builders and developers to obtain the best possible prices for the construction of dwelling units, while ensuring that the quality of construction is not compromised. It does not involve itself in the development or construction of any projects or planned schemes across the country. Through its negotiations, the AFWHO is able to secure prices that are significantly lower than the prevailing market rates.

AFWHO is being spearheaded by retired officers of the Indian Defense Services, with active support from seasoned experts in different fields.
